Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of robust backend solutions.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will work on developing scalable data models and APIs to support complex business logic, optimize application performance across multiple applications, and collaborate with product management, UI/UX designers, and engineering leads to implement technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend solutions using Python and related frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, or similar)
  • Develop Python-based GraphQL servers and utilize ORM SQL (SQLAlchemy) technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical specifications
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tools and techniques, recommending them for incorporation into our platform
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from planning to deployment
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development
  • Proficiency in Python and related frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, or similar)
  • Experience with SQL databases, ORM technologies (SQLAlchemy), and GraphQL (Python-based servers)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  • Ability to collaborate synchronously with team members during core hours while respecting work-life balance
