We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Staff Accountant. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, performing key accounting tasks, and maintaining fixed asset schedules.

">About the Role
  • Our ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in cash and tax basis accounting principles.
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, macros, VLOOKUPs); strong data management skills are also essential.
  • Certified in QuickBooks Online (QBO preferred) is a plus, but not required.
  • The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently are crucial for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and clients are also required.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and working collaboratively within a team-oriented setting are essential aspects of this position.
Your Requirements

To succeed as a Staff Accountant, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is an added advantage.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books is highly desirable.
