Job Description - Grade Specific

Role Overview:

  1. Drives sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship processes as per Category/local strategy.
  2. Manages across local BUs the identification of procurement initiatives, gets visibility on bids/projects (requiring 3rd party involvement) and leads procurement contribution.
  3. Participates in analyzing supplier performances.
  4. Shares the country category action plan with operational stakeholders.
  5. Owns specific savings initiatives and associated savings or other targets/objectives.
  6. Monitors process adherence across work perimeter and escalates as needed.
  7. Has deeper knowledge in the P2P processes.
  8. Identifies and reports process improvements.
  9. Coordinates/supports junior professionals in process adherence and problem solving.

General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  1. Provides services according to the scope assigned by the Category to meet specific KPIs.
  2. Drives small spend RFx.
  3. Executes sourcing strategies to obtain quotations to meet internal Stakeholders' requirements.
  4. Ensures correlation between contract, quotes, and Purchase Requisition during the validation process.
  5. Responsive to local Stakeholders in solving day-to-day sourcing activities.
  6. Maintains relationship with Stakeholders across functions.
  7. Negotiates best price for spot buy.
  8. Contracts on local templates.
  9. Contributes to the supplier maintenance process and identifies potential preferred suppliers/updates preferred supplier list (PSL).
  10. Coordinates and manages supplier claims.
  11. Accountable for process compliance within the work perimeter.
  12. Proactively contributes to Global Strategy compliance.
  13. Proactively contributes with local input to global categories strategies.
  14. Proactively contributes to Category Sourcing strategy including forecasting, identification, delivery, and reporting of savings.
  15. Acts to overall procurement policies and processes.
  16. Supports junior professionals in day-to-day activities.
