Job Description
  • Assist clients with their financial and income tax statements by researching and interpreting tax laws.
  • Prepare individual, corporate tax returns, and partnership returns, as well as simple business tax returns.
  • Evaluate data for compliance with filing requirements and identify missing items to ensure accurate returns.
  • Develop tax planning strategies for clients to optimize their financial positions.
  • Effectively utilize firm software to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, ProSystems fx Tax, and CCH Axcess Tax is an advantage.
