Expert Actuary Advisor

We are seeking a seasoned actuary to join our team in providing expert guidance and advice to various clients.
The role includes designing or reviewing complex actuarial models or valuations for retirement benefit reporting, life insurance, general insurance reserves, and IFRS 17 implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the team in project aspects such as data analysis, modeling, and report preparation.
- Contribute to technical acumen development through ongoing training and professional certifications.
- Stay updated on local and national business and economic issues to ensure expert advice.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Develop internal relationships and foster a positive work environment.
- 2-3 years of Actuarial experience preferred with a strong track record of success.
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent required.
- Passed at least one exam for Associateship for Actuaries.
- Proficient in Excel, especially using VB Macros.
- Strong analytical skills with commercial sense and ability to interpret complex data.
- Good problem solver and quick learner with excellent communication skills.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
- Mid-Senior level experience with a proven ability to lead projects.
