We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Credentialing Specialist with a strong background in ABA therapy services to manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete and maintain credentialing and re-credentialing applications for BCBAs, RBTs, and other ABA clinicians ensuring timely submission and follow-up on delays.
  • Track credentialing statuses, initiate renewals in advance, and maintain regular communication with insurance companies regarding application status updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of licensure, certifications, background checks, liability insurance, and other compliance documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate start dates with HR and scheduling teams to ensure active clinician presence before client interactions.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of demographic updates, reassignment of benefits, and provider termination notices.

Requirements:
  • Proven credentialing experience preferably in ABA or behavioral health environments.
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing processes, insurance requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with BACB and state licensing requirements for ABA professionals enhancing organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with billing team members.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as CentralReach, Rethink, or Catalyst facilitating efficient data management.
  • High level of confidentiality and accuracy in managing sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of ABA-specific billing and compliance processes ensuring accurate submissions.
