Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead the development of high-quality Ruby code for carrier integrations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a software engineer and be able to contribute from day one.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality Ruby code for new carrier integrations
  • Manage and orchestrate a large number of microservices
  • Understand, plan, and execute maintenance of existing integrations
  • Lead and actively participate in systems architecture initiatives
  • Improve test coverage and quality of deliverables
  • Improve and create internal tools and libraries
  • Mentor and guide other team members
  • Participate in scaling the engineering team

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (5-7+ years) as a software engineer
  • Experience working with Ruby projects recently
  • Hands-on experience with planning and improving observability and monitoring processes
  • Grafana/Prometheus experience is a plus
  • Technical recruitment interview experience is a bonus
  • Test-driven development expertise
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles
  • Microservices and/or service-oriented architecture experience
  • CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance experience
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes from a software engineering perspective
  • Public cloud provider experience, preferably GCP
  • In-depth understanding of relational and non-relational database principles
  • REST API design and implementation skills
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives
  • Fluent English communication skills
