Software Engineer Position Overview

We are looking for skilled Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will work on designing and maintaining specialist Python tools to support the developer build and publication process.

  • You will be responsible for developing and improving our software solutions using Python, Packaging, and Linux skills.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, a strong understanding of modern GNU/Linux distributions, and experience working with container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing software solutions using Python and related technologies.

  • Maintaining and improving our software solutions to ensure they meet customer needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Python skills, including data structures, file input/output, and object-oriented programming.
  • A good understanding of modern GNU/Linux distributions, including package management systems.
  • Experience working with container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
