Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our product engineering squad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern messaging platforms using NodeJS/Typescript programming.
  • Be proactive in improving the team's technical approach, programming, and ways of working.
  • Learns fast and implements solutions either as Proof of Concept or actual implementation.
  • Adapt to how our product is used by customers and help to fix production issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to contribute to code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software to customers.
  • Hands-on experience in NodeJS/Typescript programming.
  • Experience across the tech stack including software architecture, frontend development, backend development, database systems, and test automation.
  • Hands-on commercial experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Microservices, AWS Serverless, REST APIs, Docker.
  • Passion for clean and beautiful code and best engineering practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
