Medical Transcription Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent transcription skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately transcribe medical dictations from physicians and other healthcare professionals into electronic health records (EHRs). This requires strong listening skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work under pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe medical dictations from physicians and other healthcare professionals with high accuracy.
  • Ensure that all transcribed documents are complete, accurate, and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to maintain high transcription standards.
  • Meet productivity targets and deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical fields or related industry.
  • At least 1-year experience as a medical transcriptionist or related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Proficient in EHR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • Solid organizational & time management skills with keen attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

  • US work hours (20-40 hours per week).
  • This is a remote job opportunity.

Salary Package:

  1. Entry Level (1-3 years of experience): Up to PHP 39,500.
  2. Intermediate Level (3-5 years of experience): Up to PHP 45,000.
  3. Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to PHP 50,500.
