About This Role

As senior DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams, focusing on automating and streamlining the software delivery and infrastructure management processes. You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust deployment pipelines, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of applications in production environments.

You will collaborate closely with developers and IT professionals to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product localization, with B2C experience in an internet Web2/Web3 company.

Key Responsibilities

Apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.

Put in place continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes and tools to enable the agile team to deliver quality software based on user feedback.

Develop scripts to automate build, software release, application deployment and system and application management.

Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.

Conduct automated system level vulnerability security scan, harden system and application platform.

Respond to incidents and resolve issues.

Perform root cause analysis for incidents and improve the system through application or infrastructure updates.

Maintain infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software related discipline, from a reputable university;

5+ years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role;

Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, etc.;

Hands-on experience in containerization and microservices including but not limited to Docker, K8S, etc.;

Hands-on experience in public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud;

Hands-on experience in Nginx configuration, Load balancer (SLB) configuration;

Good understanding over server-side scripting (Unix/shell scripting) and automation technology;

Experience working in an agile environment on consumer-facing software products;

High sense of responsibility, strong ability to analyze and eliminate faults, good at learning at work, able to withstand work stress;

Proven ability to work cross team, multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
