Job Title: Senior Java Software Developer

This role is a key contributor to our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services. Our ideal candidate will have strong experience with Agile Development, DevOps, and Test Driven Design, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms, AWS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features;
  • Building and optimizing APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems;
  • Improving system performance, team productivity, and reducing risk.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, particularly in backend tech stacks;
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Java or Go;
  • Significant experience in Agile Development, DevOps, and Test Driven Design;
  • Strong experience with unit testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery & DevOps practices;
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, AWS.

Preferred skills include:

  • Solid knowledge of RESTful services and different architectures;
  • Familiarity with version control and defect tracking tools like GIT, JIRA;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities;
  • Experience with container environment, Docker;
  • Familiarity with database management SQL/NoSQL and experience integrating databases with backend systems.
