At North Taal Steel Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
About the RoleThis key position involves ensuring that all delivery operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Delivery Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of our deliveries, from reviewing orders to navigating routes using map programs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
You will be required to communicate traffic delays and other concerns to our Logistic Head and Supervisor as needed, as well as obtain delivery confirmation from customers.
Key Responsibilities- Review Orders: Review orders before and after delivery to ensure all orders are complete.
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform vehicle inspection before and after departing to ensure safe operation.
- Loading and Unloading: Load, transport and unload delivery items safely and efficiently, preventing any damage, spoilage or loss.
- Customer Specifications: Follow any customer specifications regarding delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Schedule Adherence: Adhere to time and route schedules to meet customer expectations.
- Route Navigation: Navigate routes using relevant map programs and determine the best routes taking into consideration traffic congestion, construction, and other factors.
- Communication: Communicate traffic delays and other concerns to Logistic Head and Supervisor as needed.
- Confirmation: Obtain delivery confirmation from customers.
- Incident Reporting: Report vehicles problems and accidents during delivery to ensure prompt resolution.
