Job Description

At Hunter's Hub Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Risk Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for information security to play a key role in protecting our organization's assets.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to safeguard our company's sensitive information. As a Chief Information Security Risk Management Specialist, you will work closely with our IT department to identify potential risks, assess vulnerabilities, and recommend controls to mitigate these threats.

  • Develop tactical plans and programs to manage and maintain our third-party information security risk management framework.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments of our third-party vendors that collect, process, transmit, and store client data.
  • Analyze and review complex bank processes, application systems, and network security implementations to identify potential risks.
  • Recommend strategies to control risks from inadequate protection of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets, processing facilities, and connected services.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing tactical plans and/or programs in the conduct of information, third-party, and system security risk assessments.
  2. Identifying our critical assets, threats to these assets, vulnerabilities, and reviewing the adequacy of existing security controls to safeguard our confidential, integral, and available information.
  3. Coordinating and assessing the security performance of third-party vendors that collect, process, transmit, and store client data.
  4. Performing threat modelling-based system security risk assessment for all IT systems and other IT assets, as applicable.
  5. Analyzing and assessing the impact of changes in process, technical changes, and systems enhancements and third-party relationships.
  6. Reviewing the adequacy of existing security controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and information processing facilities to mitigate information security risk.
  7. Formulating, recommending information security policies and procedures on physical, environmental, and personnel security with respect to the results of information security assessment activities.
