Job Description
This role involves developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize financial performance and ensure regulatory compliance. As a key finance leader, you will work collaboratively across teams to drive strategic tax planning, risk mitigation, and process improvement initiatives, directly impacting business growth and operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Tax Planning & Compliance
- Develop and implement tax strategies that maximize financial performance and comply with local and international tax regulations.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes to mitigate risks and maintain strict adherence to legal requirements.
- Provide expert tax advisory support to business leaders, influencing key financial and operational decisions.
Audit & Risk Management
- Lead and manage tax audits and investigations, successfully resolving any issues and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.
- Enhance internal tax controls and compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors to ensure seamless audit processes.
Collaboration & Business Partnering
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, partners, and finance teams to develop tax-efficient solutions and reporting strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, mentoring and guiding finance and tax professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tax systems, automation, and reporting capabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- 8+ years of proven experience in tax management, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
- Strong expertise in tax compliance, audits, and regulatory risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tax software, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
