Job Summary

The Threat Intelligence Lead owns Canonical's threat intelligence strategy and execution, encompassing the understanding of cyber threat actors targeting the company. This role involves utilizing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) to improve products and internal cybersecurity controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain OSINT research environments
  • Build and own Canonical's threat intelligence strategy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the wider cybersecurity community to establish Canonical as a thought leader in open source threat intelligence
  • Conduct briefings for executives, internal stakeholders, and external customers on threat intelligence data
Requirements
  • Experience in threat intelligence leadership or similar roles
  • Knowledge of current open source threats and computer networking/infrastructure concepts
  • Competence with OSINT tools such as Buscador, Trace Labs OSINT VM, OSINT Framework, Maltego, Shodan, and social media scraping tools
  • Ability to identify, organize, catalogue, and track adversary tradecraft trends with incomplete data
