Web Development Specialist

As a key member of our Digital Performance Team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining high-performance websites on Shopify and WordPress.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring seamless user experiences, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional results. You will be responsible for implementing custom web designs, developing websites, and optimizing site performance to meet modern standards.

  • Implement recommendations to improve site speed, reduce technical debt, and enhance overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with creatives, paid media, SEO, account management, content, and product teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all web assets.
  • Provide proactive and professional reports and updates on web projects and programs.
  • Implement and test Google Analytics 4.
  • Set up Zapier and any other notification system for leads, form submissions, etc.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in client management, web development, and communications.
  • Possess passion and experience in web development (Shopify & WordPress) and digital marketing.
  • Have a sound understanding of social and digital media advertising.
  • Experience running multi-functional projects for clients.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, and Asana is a bonus.
  • Have a flexible approach to work with an agile mindset.
  • Be organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of taking a project from conception to implementation.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills (with very strong written and verbal English).
  • Be ready to learn and be challenged.
  • Be passionate about driving results.
