Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance and Engineering Manager to join our team at Gratitude Philippines.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of critical facilities, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that any issues are addressed promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of critical facilities equipment, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Precision Air Conditioning Units, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, and Electrical Systems.
  • Supervise the quarterly and annual inventory of fixed assets and engineering supplies, ensuring compliance with Accenture standards and policies.
  • Define and review third-party maintenance contracts to ensure consistency and cost-effectiveness in repairs and maintenance work.
  • Represent operations during construction, office fit-out, and new space turnover, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with various Accenture groups, including Global Asset Protection, Procurement, Infrastructure Services, Legal, Human Resources, and Business Units, to execute deliverables, resolve service requests, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Work closely with outsourced Integrated Facilities Management and Total Cost of Ownership teams to execute defined scope and deliverables related to repairs and maintenance and business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, building, and internal requirements/policies, driving consistency across locations and repairs/maintenance work.
  • Coordinate with Building Administration for proper maintenance and upkeep of building-owned equipment, areas, and services.
  • Conduct internal and external reviews/benchmarking, recommending necessary improvements and retrofitting works.
  • Oversee Business Continuity Management and handle incident management as part of the overall BCM process, coordinating with other BCM groups and stakeholders for alignment.
  • Review and recommend budgets for repairs and maintenance spending, conceptualizing and recommending ideas for improving procedures, equipment efficiency, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Certainly, undertaking on-call duties, providing assistance and escalation where necessary.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and engineering, preferably in a similar role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
