About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Event Coordinator to join our team at Dusit Doha Hotel | Dusit Hotel & Suites - Doha.

Key Responsibilities
  • Catering and Group Sales: Responsible for all catering and group sales in the hotel, from booking events to their execution.
  • Budget and Forecasts: Assist Director of Event to prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
  • Sales Activities: Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
  • Monthly Forecasts: Work closely with the Director of Event to prepare monthly forecasts.
  • Annual Business Plan: Develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department.
  • Banquet and Catering Budget: Achieve Banquet and Catering budgeted set out in the yearly business plan for the hotel.
Reporting Line and Communication
  • Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.
  • Communicates effectively with guests, clients, business partners, and staff.
