About the Job

This is a highly skilled leadership position that oversees development activities and team performance.

We are seeking an experienced WordPress professional to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with custom built themes, plugins, ACF and Gutenberg editor.

Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of developers, promoting collaboration and ensuring effective execution of projects. Problem solving and conflict resolution are also essential skills.

The successful candidate will build web applications using custom WordPress themes and plugins, applying web development best practices. They will create immersive experiences for users and maintain excellent performance scores.

Requirements:

  • Proven 5+ years hands-on experience as a WordPress developer.
  • 3+ years work experience leading a development team.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices.
  • Expertise in Agile methodology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery.
  • Proficiency in backend developments such as WordPress, PHP, MySQL, API integrations, JSON, and XML.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue.
  • Experience in Webflow.
  • Proficiency in Sketch and Invision.
