Job Overview
NIRAS is a leading provider of consulting services, and we are seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing 3D models to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and manage accurate, clash-free 3D models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems, while maintaining project-specific BIM standards and templates throughout the lifecycle.
  2. Collaborate with teams to integrate BIM workflows, conduct clash detection, resolve conflicts, and facilitate design reviews with clear communication.
  3. Provide technical guidance on BIM tools and standards, ensure model quality and compliance, and develop and enforce BIM execution plans (BEPs) and workflows.
  4. Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models, create client presentations, and maintain an organized BIM file repository.
  5. Stay updated with BIM advancements, implement innovative practices, and continuously improve workflows and standards for enhanced project efficiency.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in BIM software like Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Experience with tools like Dynamo, BIM 360, and strong knowledge of construction processes and building codes.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM coordination, modeling, or project management roles.
  4. Certification in BIM-related software or processes is a plus.
  5. Experience in large-scale or complex projects (e.g., infrastructure, high-rise buildings, industrial facilities) preferred.
  6. Familiarity with sustainable design and LEED accreditation is a plus.
