">Job Description

The Tax Professional is responsible for supporting the tax team by handling data input and assisting with the preparation of individual and business tax returns. This role focuses on accurate entry of tax information, including Schedule C and Schedule E, while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

This position requires the ability to screen and review client-provided tax documents for completeness and accuracy prior to preparation. The successful candidate will enter and review tax data into preparation software with accuracy and attention to detail.

In addition, the Tax Professional will prepare and support the filing of federal and state tax returns, including Schedule C and Schedule E. They will organize and verify supporting documentation for client returns and maintain confidentiality of sensitive tax and financial information.

The ideal candidate will be able to meet established deadlines and collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of returns. They will also respond to client or internal inquiries regarding tax information as needed.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Lacerte, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in screening and data entry.
  • Maintaining integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • At least one (1) year of tax preparation experience; Must have a stable employment history.
