Senior Backend Developer Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend rules based on project requirements
  2. Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
  3. Work on user stories to develop rules aligned with project specifications
  4. Collaborate with external teams to integrate solutions
  5. Identify and troubleshoot application issues ensuring optimal performance
  6. Create and maintain accurate documentation for all development activities
  7. Adhere to the SDLC process and participate in Agile and Scrum meetings
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in Information Systems Technology
  • Proven expertise in Java Development and Spring
  • 5+ years of experience with REST Services
  • IBM ODM Tools or Rule Engine system background such as Drools
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in complex environments
