Wind Turbine Cash Manager

The Cash Management department is part of the Global Finance organization, within the Vestas Shared Services Centre (SSC), under the Account-To-Report (A2R) Department. The A2R team is responsible for the General Ledger, Fixed Assets Accounting, Cash Management, Intercompany Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Statutory Reporting. This role will be part of the Cash Management Team, focusing on Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow Reporting, In-house bank Accounting and Controlling, Petty Cash Accounting, Currency Exposure Reporting and Treasury Trades Accounting and Reporting.

This team collaborates closely with Regional Finance, Payroll, Treasury Department, other lines of business personnel and with other functions in SSC such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Travel & Expense.

1. Participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of Cash Flow Reporting, Bank Reconciliation and related Treasury processes and procedures in Finance and Accounting.
2. Execute relevant finance processing of Cash Management fully in accordance with defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures.
3. Engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders to resolve operational issues and problems quickly and effectively.
4. Prepare and review daily reports such as bank posting/clearing, bank reconciliation, cash flow reporting and monthly reports including In-House Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow and Currency Exposure Reports, Other Cash/Treasury related reports and accompanying schedules and specifications.
5. Analytical review to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Process Performance Indicators (PPIs) for the specific function are met.
6. Ensure SOX controls review has been performed and completed for entities handled.
7. Assist in improving accounting policies to maintain and reinforce internal controls.
8. Review and update standard operating procedures and process manuals accordingly.
9. Develop training plans and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a relevant business course (Banking and Finance/Financial Management/Management).
• Comprehensive background in Cash Management functions with general understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany and General Ledger functions.
• At least five years of working experience in the same field.
• BPO and migration experience.
• Professional and diligent by nature with a keen sense of quality.
• Resourceful with a motivated approach and an innovative mindset thriving in a challenging environment with goal-oriented people.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies would be advantageous.
• Flexible and willing to work on holidays and any shift if needed.
• Knowledge of using ERP systems.
