Financial Statement Expert

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our growing accounting team. As a tax accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS in line with Australian compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS under tight deadlines.
  • Support accountants and bookkeepers with day-to-day client needs.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the preparation process.
  • Enter daily timesheets accurately.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Australian accounting firms.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Xero add-ons (Xero Practice Manager, Ignition, FYI).
  • Exposure to SMSF compliance.
Work Arrangements:

38 hours per week between 9:00am–5:30pm AEST, Monday to Thursday, and 9:00am–3:00pm AEST Friday, with a 24-minute lunch break.
