About the Role

The Site Reliability Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, fostering software development innovation, and product advancement.

  • Lead your team in implementing daily agile devops practices to ensure seamless operations.
  • Represent the Information Systems team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams, serving as the primary point of contact for queries and concerns.
  • Organize, coordinate, and drive internal projects that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Mentor engineers to enhance their skills and expertise, promoting continuous learning and growth within the team.
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect team health and productivity.
  • Implement structured engineering and operations processes that promote efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Ensure the team remains focused on priorities, milestones, and deliverables, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
  • Work closely with customers to meet service level agreements (SLAs) for deployments across the globe.
  • Deliver high-quality managed services in a timely and consistent manner, meeting customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of driving results-oriented initiatives and exceeding expectations.
  • Significant experience in software delivery using infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing devops teams for SAAS or similar offerings, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and maintainable code quality principles.
  • Technical acumen to comprehend complex distributed systems and cloud topologies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and ability to adapt to evolving landscape.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for company events and meetings.
  • An outstanding academic record from both high school and university levels.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Ubuntu system administration.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and practices.
  • Experience working in and managing distributed teams.
