Job Title: Senior M365 Support Engineer (Remote - External)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior M365 Support Engineer to join our team. As a Senior M365 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients and internal teams, resolving complex issues and implementing new solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the team to ensure speedy resolution of client issues and achieve SLAs and KPIs.
  • Escalations: Take ownership of cases escalated to Microsoft, managing communications between customers and vendors, and participating in post-incident reviews and lessons learned activities.
  • Patch Management: Provide reactive and proactive patching services, including risk assessment, scheduling, and customer change management procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Escalation and Service Delivery teams on root cause analysis, escalations, and reports.
  • Vendor Management: Manage escalations to and work with vendors to resolve issues.
  • Audit and Compliance: Participate in regular audits to ensure adherence to client organizational compliance requirements and standards.
  • Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and share knowledge within the team to promote continuous improvement and best practices.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have several years of experience in IT industry with respect to infrastructure and application support background, including knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Premium, Windows Server Admin, Exchange server admin, M365-Exchange online, ODfB, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Azure IaaS.

You will also need to have strong customer focus, communication skills, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Additionally, you will need to have good knowledge of the tools and applications being used internally, such as ServiceDesk and Monitoring Reporting/Tool.
