Job Summary:
">We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide exceptional support to patients over the phone, schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and maintain accurate patient records within our electronic health record system.

- Scheduling: Schedule primary care appointments, including annual exams, chronic care follow-ups, acute visits, and preventive screenings">
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and network status">
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and update patient records accurately in our electronic health record system">
- Portal Assistance: Assist with patient portal setup and troubleshooting">
- Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery">
- Test Result Communication: Respond to patient inquiries regarding test results, referrals, and follow-up instructions in alignment with practice policies">
Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or internal medicine">
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems, including scheduling, documentation, and patient communication features">
- Strong knowledge of primary care visit types, referral processes, and insurance requirements">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment">
