Job Description

Neksjob is seeking a highly experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on insurance, consumer credit, and debt collection regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations. This includes:

  • Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations;
  • Ensuring all controls and deliverables listed in Neksjob's Compliance Monitoring Plan are performed accurately and timely;
  • Assisting the Compliance Officer with reporting to management committees and the board of directors on compliance matters;

The Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring Neksjob's day-to-day compliance, including providing assistance and support to the business in relation to regulatory and ad hoc compliance queries. This will involve collaborating with other departments, such as Legal and Operations, to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration;
  • At least 5-7 years of auditing experience;
  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience;
  • Experience from known auditing firms is an advantage.
