Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist

We are seeking a skilled EDI Specialist to join our team. This role requires expertise in data management and integration processes, as well as strong experience with 834/X12 writing and EDI standards.

The ideal candidate will have a solid proficiency in Python programming, knowledge of JSON data formats, and experience with CSV/Flat file writing. Familiarity with SFTP processes for secure data transfer is also highly desirable.

This position involves troubleshooting and optimizing end-to-end workflows, as well as contributing to the migration away from Orderful. The successful candidate will be accountable for removing Orderful from existing processes, transforming data from JSON to X12 in BigQuery, and improving overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • EDI & Data Transformation – Assist in migrating away from Orderful and improve overall efficiency.
  • Process Optimization – Review SQL scripts and documentation in BigQuery to ensure best practices for file generation.

Requirements:

  • Desirable Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data management and integration processes.
  • Solid proficiency in Python programming, with knowledge of JSON data formats.
  • Strong experience with 834/X12 writing and practical knowledge of EDI standards.
  • Experience with CSV/Flat file writing.
  • Familiarity with SFTP processes for secure data transfer.
  • Integration proficiency – ability to troubleshoot and optimize end-to-end workflows.
  • Technical writing skills and high attention to detail for documentation and process clarity.
  • SQL experience, with BigQuery highly preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Working Hours:

9 AM – 7 PM (Mountain Time), required overlap.
