About the Role

We are seeking a Logistics Capacity Strategist to join our team at 2GO Logistics. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for building a collaborative planning process from stakeholders that hold commercial information regarding volume entering our network. Your primary objective will be to establish independent analysis and forecasting methods critical for setting network capacity, design, and coverage.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Forecasting and Demand Planning Head to translate demand forecasts into actionable capacity plans.
  2. Establish capacity frameworks balancing manpower, fleet, and operational infrastructure to meet service lead-time requirements.
  3. Design capacity solutions for short-term volume spikes and long-term trends, ensuring network elasticity and scalability.
  4. Perform regular capacity audits to identify bottlenecks and recommend data-driven adjustments to resource allocation.
  5. Partner with the Network and Route Design Manager to align resource availability with optimal routing strategies.
  6. Develop tools and methods for real-time monitoring of resource utilization and efficiency across the network.
  7. Lead cross-functional discussions to manage seasonal volume fluctuations, ensuring operational readiness.
  8. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in capacity planning methodology and tools through benchmarking against other market trends and logistics providers.
  9. Conduct scenario-based planning to mitigate risks associated with sudden shifts in demand or supply constraints.
  10. Oversee capacity-related KPIs, ensuring alignment with operational targets and financial goals.

Job Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years in capacity planning, demand planning, or a related field in logistics or express industries.
  3. Proven experience in optimizing network operations and resource management.
  4. Proficiency in advanced planning tools and systems (e.g., Excel, SQL, or logistics-specific software).
  5. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
