Software Quality Assurance is a crucial part of our company's success. We are seeking a skilled Functional Tester to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in using Azure DevOps for managing test plans, executing tests, and generating test reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze provided requirements and specifications
  • Develop a thorough test plan and strategy to guide testing activities and ensure coverage of all aspects of the software
  • Plan, estimate, and prioritize testing activities to ensure timely completion and effectiveness
  • Create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data to validate software functionality
  • Accurately identify, record, and document defects, and track reported defects for resolution
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product team to discuss and resolve defects
  • Perform various types of testing, including UI, sanity, functional, regression, component, and end-to-end testing
  • Provide accurate status reports on all testing activities

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills, with experience in software testing and development
  • Web and Mobile Experience: Proven experience in testing web and mobile applications
  • Software QA Knowledge: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test planning, test case detailing, and defect tracking
  • Defect Reporting and Management: Strong experience in defect reporting, tracking, and management
  • Database Operations and API Calls: Experience working with database operations and API calls
  • Continuous Change and Deadlines: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work effectively under minimum supervision with continuous change requirements and short deadlines
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
