Job Summary
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to track and report on compliance metrics, monitor regulatory changes, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and Report on Compliance Metrics: Monitor and analyze data to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards to ensure our organization remains compliant.
- Internal Stakeholder Support: Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues on regulatory matters, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential legal, regulatory, and statutory risks, and implement mitigating strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing regulatory affairs, including compliance with government requirements.
- Working knowledge of quality and food safety management systems, such as HACCP, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000.
- Familiarity with Philippine laws and regulations governing the food manufacturing industry, including FDA regulations and the Food Safety Act of 2013.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
