About the Role
  • The Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions, coaching peers, and managing client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cloud Platform Engineers provide technical guidance to junior team members, serve as mentors, and help build relationships between cloud infrastructure teams.
Deliverables
  • Function as technical delivery oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements.
  • Partner with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones align with project plans.
  • Have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and their implementation using IaC (Bicep or Terraform).
  • Help the delivery team reach billable targets by assisting with breaking through project blockers.
  • Facilitate change orders and project extensions when necessary.
  • Drive alignment between technical mesh points between practice areas.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and their impact on existing offerings.
  • Pursue industry-recognized certifications, such as the AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification.
Business Development Opportunities
  • Gain exposure to other organizational offerings to position in existing infrastructure engagements.
  • Identify new Cloud Infrastructure & Security solution opportunities.
  • Lead and guide infrastructure committees that define standard offerings.
Leveraging Factors for Growth
  • Reach trusted advisor status within multiple accounts, supporting a 'Land & Expand' approach.
  • Lead and guide engagements that enable infrastructure team scaling.
  • Support teammates with unblocking engagements and remediating escalations.
  • Create reusable artifacts and content for team members.
