Tax Professional Wanted

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive tax experience, a strong background in U.S. accounting, and a proven track record in leadership, compliance, and client relationship management.


Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Utilize Intuit ProConnect Tax Software for tax preparation and filing. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of tax preparation professionals. Set performance expectations and monitor team performance. Oversee the review of tax returns prepared by tax preparers. Mentor and develop staff at all levels, fostering their professional growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients. Review tax returns with clients and provide guidance. Maintain effective communication with a diverse client base.
  • Oversee data security and confidentiality measures. Ensure accurate preparation of audit schedules and coach team members for optimal performance.

Requirements
  • CPA license is required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of U.S. accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Intuit ProConnect Tax Software - preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset and excellent communication abilities.
  • Sharp analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
