We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Excellence Contracts Manager to join our team at DB Schenker.
About the Position:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial contracts across our global logistics network. This includes analyzing customer contract key clauses and registering contents like liabilities, percentages, and currency amounts as well as clause text in a standardized template.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strong background in transportation law, preferably with experience as a practicing lawyer. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage commercial contracts across our global logistics network.
- Analyze customer contract key clauses and register contents in a standardized template.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on contract terms and conditions.
- Develop strategies to mitigate potential risks in contracts.
- Strong legal background and general knowledge of transportation law.
- Relevant work experience in a law firm or other 3PL.
- Must be fluent in English (every other language is a plus).
- Solid knowledge/background on commercials and CL operations.
