Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing furniture and home storage products. As a key member of our design team, you will leverage your expertise to create designs that meet customer needs, are manufacturable within timelines, and reflect innovation and practicality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of furniture and home storage products from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer needs and are feasible within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Conduct extensive research to stay ahead of market trends, materials, and production processes.
  • Provide creative solutions to complex design challenges, maintaining high levels of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Create and refine 3D models, prototypes, and design presentations using SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Adobe Photoshop.

Qualifications

  • College graduate from a top-tier design program with a degree in Industrial Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in furniture or home storage design, preferably in the consumer goods sector.
  • High proficiency in SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Illustrator is highly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of various materials including metals, woods, plastics, and their respective production processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to solve complex design problems creatively.
  • Strong collaborator who thrives in a team environment, values input from others, and works effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A creative wizard with a passion for home design, style, and innovation.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
