Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in database administration, with at least 3 years in an L3 role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Tools: Experience with advanced database monitoring and management tools like SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle Enterprise Manager, or similar. Experience with monitoring solutions like LogicMonitor, DataDog, NewRelic, BigPanda.
  • Security: Strong knowledge of database security practices, including encryption, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, or similar are a plus.
