As a Strategic Supply Chain Manager at Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the company's supply chain operations. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of direct commodities and work with strategic procurement colleagues to develop new supply sources to support existing and new product requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in driving cost savings and improving efficiency. You will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement spend management strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supply chain performance metrics.
Requirements:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or other Engineering/Management-related courses. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Procurement function in the manufacturing industry or supply chain role in the shared services industry is required.

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities, as well as environmental legislations such as ROHS and REACH. A fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain and knowledge of Project Management is also necessary.
