Senior Tax Accountant Position Overview

This role involves working as a Senior Tax Accountant, focusing on tax compliance reports and completing working papers. Your responsibilities will include preparing and lodging individual income tax returns, business activity statements, and fringe benefits tax returns.

You will be handling bookkeeping in client accounting files, including Xero, MYOB, and Quickbooks, as well as payroll processing in client accounting files using Xero and MYOB. Additionally, you will be uploading invoice payments for clients and processing quarterly superannuation payments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in Australian accounting or taxation and possess a strong understanding of Australian Taxation and Compliance. The role also requires the ability to review work prepared by junior accountants and perform training in downtime to improve own skills and share knowledge with the team.
