Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Azure, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Management
    • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for cloud and on-prem systems, including Azure VMs, storage, and networking.
    • Maintain system health, perform patching, backups, and configuration reviews.
    • Troubleshoot escalated issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Network Administration & Security
    • Administer Azure and Microsoft 365, including compute, identity, and access management.
    • Enforce cloud governance, tagging, and cost optimization best practices.
    • Support automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
    • Manage identities, licensing, conditional access, and compliance policies.
    • Virtualization & HCI Support: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and HCI platforms.
    • Perform virtual machine provisioning, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
    • Execute disaster recovery testing and maintain business continuity documentation.
  • Security Operations
    • Monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
    • Implement and enforce access controls, multi-factor authentication, data loss prevention, and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 teams to resolve incidents and implement infrastructure changes.
    • Participate in change advisory board meetings and document change impacts.
    • Recommend performance and cost-efficiency enhancements.
    • Stay current with cloud technologies and contribute to automation and knowledge sharing.
