Virtual Medication Verification Specialist

This role involves working as a virtual pharmacist, utilizing AI-driven tools to verify the accuracy of medications packed into dose-ready sachets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify medication accuracy using AI-driven tools and cross-check against prescriptions for correct dosage and format.
  • Identify and flag missing or duplicate tablets or debris for removal and highlight patients with missing data for redaction.
  • Provide feedback on AI performance to improve accuracy and reliability.
Claims Review & Submission:
  • Review insurance claims prior to submission to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify patient eligibility for financial assistance programs and document submissions.
  • Check paperwork for completeness and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the billing team.
Data Integration & Onboarding:
  • Migrate data from external systems into dispensing systems during new hospital and nursing home onboarding and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with onboarding teams for seamless integration and migration of data.
General Duties:
  • Process monthly orders from customers by reviewing orders and entering them into the dispensing system and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery times.
Qualifications:
  • Active pharmacist license and 2+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, claims management, or clinical pharmacy.
  • Familiarity with insurance claims, financial aid programs, and medication therapy management and proficiency with technology including AI tools and claims management systems.
