Your Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to lead our Fraud Prevention & AML products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across our product solutions and service offerings.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms into our client's data feeds, resolving issues and enforcing best practices;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful Data Science artefacts on large-scale clients;
  • Communicate complex data insights and progress to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest state-of-the-art in machine learning applied to our domains, sharing knowledge with the team;
  • Provide input to Product and Research teams based on client-specific insights and models;
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and continuous improvement;

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or similar technical discipline;
  • Hands-on experience with big data, machine learning algorithms, and statistical modelling techniques such as classification, decision trees, boosting, and clustering;
  • Experience with R/Python and object-oriented languages like Java, C/C++;
  • Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Hive, and Pig;
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, ability to handle uncertainty and complexity;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
