Frontend Developer Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing frontend features and functionality using React.js and JavaScript. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our lead developer/co-founder to deliver high-quality, well-tested code that meets established conventions and patterns.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives on following established coding styles and conventions. You will excel at taking clear requirements and directions, then translating them into reliable, well-maintained code.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and React.js, as well as a strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality. You should also possess excellent reading comprehension skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement frontend features based on provided specifications
  • Follow established coding conventions and patterns
  • Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to our engineering standards
