Job Role Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial transactions, data analysis and report preparation. They will also be responsible for assisting with budgeting processes and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

  • Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare reports to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting processes to align accounting activities with corporate standards.
  • Review and process invoices to ensure accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy.
  • Providing expert analysis and insights through data analysis.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement effective budgeting processes.
  • Reviewing and processing invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Current or pending certifications as an accountant.
  • Extensive experience in financial services or accounting roles.
Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Accounting experience within a complex financial services organisation.
  • Audit experience preferred, with experience from Big 4 being an advantage.
  • Experience in Treasury or Settlements is an advantage.
