Senior Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. This role will provide technical leadership in designing and optimizing the reporting and data consumption layer of a large-scale enterprise data platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualizations. They should also have strong expertise in Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, and other cloud-based data integration tools.

The successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, high-performance dashboards and reports in Power BI. They will also guide best practices across the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly in the use of Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Snowflake as the central data platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data models for Power BI reports
  • Developing and maintaining complex data transformations using SSIS
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data visualization solutions
  • Providing technical guidance on data governance and security
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualizations
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, and other cloud-based data integration tools
  • Practical knowledge of SSIS for ETL processes and experience integrating diverse data sources
  • Solid understanding of Snowflake and its use in a hybrid Microsoft-Snowflake environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
