Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on project requirements.

  • The Procurement Specialist will maintain and update a database of reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • He/She will assist in all pre-sales and procurement processes including canvassing, proposal gathering, and initial vendor negotiations.
  • The specialist will conduct cost-benefit analysis and vendor comparisons for endorsement to the Senior Procurement Officer for final review and approval.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), or a related field is required.
  • Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of work experience in procurement, preferably in construction or a related industry.
  • Background in procurement and construction is essential.
  • Candidates must be willing to undergo training in Manila before being assigned to Cebu.
  • They must be based in Cebu and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) are necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools is required.
  • Candidates must have initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
