Virtual Chemistry Educator Position

This role focuses on connecting learners with expert teachers through technology, promoting educational equity and academic achievement.

  • Create engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Utilize online tools to differentiate instruction, engage students, and enhance their overall learning experience.
  • Teach live lessons during regular school hours (minimum 4 hours), fostering a sense of community and interaction.
  • Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and progress.
  • Represent the organization positively in all interactions, embodying professionalism and excellence.

A reliable laptop or desktop (Windows 10/11 or MacOS 10.14+), two monitors, and high-speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps download) are required for this position.

This is a fully remote, part-time position with flexible scheduling, no in-person commitments, and provided curriculum and virtual tools to facilitate effective teaching.

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have an active US state-issued Chemistry teaching certification, a Social Security number, and proficiency in virtual teaching tools and resources.

Preferred qualifications include one or more years of teaching experience, enabling them to effectively implement innovative instructional strategies and techniques.
