Job Title: Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team at SBS Philippines Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with national and local safety procedures and protocols, and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the company in all safety audits, including government and client audit requirements.
  • Conduct internal safety inspections and audits.
  • Generate findings of safety audits, internal memoranda, ad hoc reports, policies, and procedures, safety manuals, and other related documents as deemed necessary.
  • Assist in the overall control and maintenance of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System of the company to ensure effective implementation and compliance to OSHS and other regulatory standards.
  • Monitor all health and safety protocols and processes of the company (Warehouse and Office).
  • Facilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) on existing and new processes, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist on the Incident/Accident Investigation and recommends corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist during the conduct of safety seminars and other related in-house training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/College Degree.
  • Specialized skills in Government Reportorial and Safety Audit.
  • At least 1-4 years of experience in the same field.
  • Intermediate knowledge on safety practices, procedures, and protocols.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with customer representatives and government agencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Advance in computer application.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Multitasking ability.
  • Attitude: Act Professionally, Strive for excellence, Deal with care.
