Automation TesterWe are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with automation frameworks, testing methodologies and tools like Cypress or Playwright, alongside BrowserStack. They must possess excellent JavaScript engineering skills and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test environments.
  • Work on both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
  • Collaborate with the manual QA engineer to prioritise which tests need automation.
  • Partner with engineers to build efficient processes for reporting issues discovered by automated tests and ensuring effective follow-up.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience building automated test environments from the ground up.
  • Strong experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
  • Proficiency with BrowserStack for web testing.
  • Strong understanding of both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
  • High level of JavaScript engineering skill.
  • Previous experience collaborating closely with Software Engineers.
